The Richmond Business Alliance (RBA) supports businesses and professionals affirming to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community by increasing visibility, offering networking opportunities, and promoting economic success.

The RBA is an organization dedicated to cultivating professional relationships, enhancing economic and educational opportunities, and fostering a sense of community among working professionals in both the private and public sectors throughout the greater Richmond, Virginia area.

A program of the Gay Community Center of Richmond, the RBA attempts to effectively incorporate the commercial, economic and professional interests of the LGBT community with those of the greater Richmond business community at large. As a result, the RBA provides a much-needed an outlet where individuals and organizations from across various sectors of the business community come together to experience unique commercial, educational, networking and social programming opportunities.

We strongly encourage our members to join our board meetings. These meetings take place every first Tuesday of each month at 6:00pm at the Gay Community Center in Richmond.

"Conscience Clause" and “Religious Freedom”

This coming Monday June 23 there will be a panel and community discussion about "Conscience Clause" and “Religious Freedom” legislation at the Gay Community Center of Richmond (1407 Sherwood Ave, Richmodn, Virginia 23220). There will be a social beginning at 5:30 p.m., and the meeting itself will start at 6 p.m.. James Parrish from Equality Virginia and local attorney Bary Hausrath will be the panelists, iwth Robyn Deane from the Richmond Gay Community Foundation board moderating. This event is sponsored by the Richmond Business Alliance and the Central Virginia Rainbow Partnership. There is no cost to attend. Please join us!
