The Richmond Business Alliance (RBA) supports businesses and professionals affirming to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community by increasing visibility, offering networking opportunities, and promoting economic success.

The RBA is an organization dedicated to cultivating professional relationships, enhancing economic and educational opportunities, and fostering a sense of community among working professionals in both the private and public sectors throughout the greater Richmond, Virginia area.

A program of the Gay Community Center of Richmond, the RBA attempts to effectively incorporate the commercial, economic and professional interests of the LGBT community with those of the greater Richmond business community at large. As a result, the RBA provides a much-needed an outlet where individuals and organizations from across various sectors of the business community come together to experience unique commercial, educational, networking and social programming opportunities.

After Bostic: What Marriage Equality Means for You

Thursday, Oct 30th 2014 from 7 PM - 9 PM

Join us for a panel discussion and Q&A on the legal and financial consequences of the Supreme Court's historic decision. The panel will feature estate and tax planner Kate Fletcher, financial advisor Pat McAleer, and adoption guru Eva Juncker, moderated by RBA president and local attorney Bary Hausrath.

Light refreshments will be served following the program. Wine and beer cash bar.
This is a program of the Richmond Business Alliance, co-sponsored by the Gay Community Center of Richmond and the Virginia Equality Bar Association.

Lunch & Learn: Marketing Your Business

Need to learn how to market your business like a pro? The Richmond Business Alliance brings you in partnership with Rich's Stitches and Design By E an educational talk about marketing your business.

Not sure what is the best way for you to market? Rich's Stitches and Design By E will break down the different ways for you to get your name out there which makes the most financial and logical sense to your business.

Guest speakers include: Cecilia and Chris Rich (Rich's Stitches) and Enrique Mendez (Design By E).

This educational talk is free to both members and non-members. Lunch will be available for purchase through Nacho Mama's Bar & Grill on Boulevard for $12 which includes choice of entree and drink.
